Terms of Use

1. Welcome to PITCH

PITCH is a professional sports network for athletes, coaches, scouts and sports organizations. PITCH (pitchsport.app) provides this service. By creating an account or using PITCH, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use PITCH.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use PITCH. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian where the law where you live requires it.
• You can sign up with an email address and password, or with your Google account. You're responsible for keeping your login safe and for activity on your account.
• The information on your profile should be truthful and yours to share. Your date of birth is collected at sign-up to confirm your age and is always kept private.

3. What PITCH is for

PITCH is a professional sports network. It is not a dating service. Using PITCH to look for dates, romantic or sexual contact, or to solicit anyone sexually is not allowed.

4. Organization pages

You can create one or more organization pages for clubs, teams, academies, nonprofits or similar groups. By doing so you confirm you are authorized to represent that organization. The user who creates the page is its owner. The owner can add other PITCH users as admins, remove them, or transfer ownership. Owners and admins can edit the page, act as the organization and publish posts and volunteer opportunities on its behalf; only the owner can manage members or delete the page. Posts from an organization are clearly labeled as such, and the organization — together with the person who posted — is responsible for them. If you delete your account, the organization pages you own are deleted too.

5. Volunteer opportunities

Any user can post a volunteer opportunity, as themselves or as an organization they manage. Everything you enter — including the contact details you provide — is public. Only post opportunities that are real, and only share contact information you're allowed and happy to publish. You're responsible for the accuracy of your listing and for anything that follows from it; PITCH doesn't vet, endorse or take part in the opportunities listed. You can edit or delete your listings at any time.

6. Direct messages

You can send private messages, media, shared posts and shared profiles to other members. The same rules apply in messages as in public content, and we may act on reported conversations. To protect minors, adults can't start a new conversation with a minor or a member of unknown age unless that member follows them.

7. Prohibited content and behavior

You must not post, send or share:

• Nudity or sexual content.
• Any sexual content involving minors. We have zero tolerance for this: we remove it, close the account and report it to the authorities.
• Graphic real-world violence, except in a genuine news context.
• Hate speech, or content attacking people for who they are.
• Harassment, bullying or threats.
• Impersonation of another person, athlete or organization.
• Spam, scams, fake listings or misleading promotions.
• Illegal content, or content promoting illegal activity.
• Content that endangers minors.
• Someone else's private information (such as their address, phone number or documents) without their permission.
• Images, videos or other material you don't have the right to share.

You also must not scrape or harvest data from PITCH, interfere with its security, or submit false or abusive reports.

8. Contact with minors

Any inappropriate contact with a minor is forbidden. This includes grooming, sexual or romantic messages, requests for photos or personal details, and attempts to move a minor to another app, platform or private channel. We remove accounts that do this and may report them to the authorities.

9. Reporting and blocking

• Report a post: open the post's "..." menu (in the feed or on the post page) and choose Report.
• Report a comment: tap the flag icon next to the comment on the post page.
• Report or block a member: open their profile and use the flag (Report) or Block button next to Follow and Message at the top.
• Report or block an organization page: use the flag (Report) or Block button next to Follow and Message at the top of the organization page.
• You can see and unblock the members you've blocked in Edit profile, under Blocked members.

We review reports and may remove content, and suspend or terminate accounts, that break these Terms or the law.

10. Your content

You own the posts, photos, videos, comments and other content you share on PITCH. By posting, you give PITCH a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display and distribute that content within PITCH, including on profiles, organization pages, the feed, Discover and link previews of shared links. This license ends when you delete the content.

11. Ending your account

You can permanently delete your account at any time from Settings (Edit profile) → Delete account. See Delete your account in the Privacy Policy for what is removed. We may also suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or the law.

12. Disclaimer

PITCH is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it secure and reliable, but we don't guarantee that it will always be available or error-free, and we are not responsible for the conduct or content of other users, including volunteer listings and messages.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PITCH is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make important changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use PITCH after a change means you accept the new Terms.

15. Contact, legal and abuse reports

For questions, legal notices or to report abuse, email privacy@pitchsport.app. In an emergency, or if a child is in danger, contact your local police first.
