1. Welcome to PITCH

PITCH is The Athlete Network for athletes, coaches, multi-sport (hybrid) members and sports organizations (clubs, teams, academies and nonprofits). By creating an account or using PITCH, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use PITCH.

2. Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to use PITCH.
• You're responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything that happens on your account.
• You choose a profile type — athlete, coach or hybrid / multi-sport — and can change it later. Coaches may add a specialty, experience and a "looking for players" status.
• The information you put on your profile (name, sport, position, stats, results, optional details like height, weight, gender, age and location) should be truthful and yours to share. Optional fields can be left blank or hidden from other users at any time.

3. Organization pages

You can create one or more organization pages for clubs, teams, academies, nonprofits or similar groups. By doing so you confirm you are authorized to represent that organization. The user who creates the page is its owner. The owner can add other PITCH users as admins, remove them, or transfer ownership. Owners and admins can edit the page, act as the organization and publish posts and volunteer opportunities on its behalf; only the owner can manage members or delete the page. Posts from an organization are clearly labeled as such, and the organization — together with the person who posted — is responsible for them. If you delete your account, the organization pages you own are deleted too.

4. Volunteer opportunities

Any user can post a volunteer opportunity, as themselves or as an organization they manage. Everything you enter — including the contact details you provide — is public. Only post opportunities that are real, and only share contact information you're allowed and happy to publish. You're responsible for the accuracy of your listing and for anything that follows from it; PITCH doesn't vet, endorse or take part in the opportunities listed. You can edit or delete your listings at any time.

5. Direct messages

You can send private messages, media and shared posts to other users. Messages are private between the participants of a conversation. Don't use messaging for harassment, spam, scams or anything else these Terms prohibit — the same rules apply there as in public content, and we may act on reported conversations.

6. Acceptable use

When using PITCH, you agree NOT to:

• Impersonate another person, athlete or organization.
• Post content that is hateful, harassing, violent, sexual, or that promotes illegal activity.
• Post spam, scams, misleading promotions, fake volunteer listings, or repeated unwanted messages or mentions.
• Upload images, videos or other content you don't have the right to share, or that violates someone's privacy, copyright or trademark.
• Tag a post with a location, or mention other users, in a way that misleads, harasses or exposes someone's private whereabouts.
• Scrape, copy or harvest data from PITCH at scale, or interfere with the platform's security.
• Use PITCH to recruit athletes in ways that violate sport-governing-body rules in your jurisdiction.
• Misuse the reporting tool by submitting false or abusive reports.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

7. Your content

You own the posts, photos, videos, comments and other content you share on PITCH, whether from your personal profile or from an organization page you manage. By posting, you grant PITCH a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display and distribute that content on the platform so it can appear on profiles, organization pages, in the feed, in Discover and in the volunteer database. This license ends when you delete the content (subject to backups and copies others may have already made).

8. Reporting content

You can report a post, comment, athlete profile or organization page from the "..." menu. Pick a reason (spam, harassment, inappropriate content, fake profile or other) and add an optional note. We review reports and may remove content or suspend accounts that break these Terms.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account and data at any time from your account settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your profile, the organization pages you own, your posts, comments, volunteer opportunities, messages, follows and uploaded media. See the Privacy Policy for how long residual copies may remain in backups. We may also suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.

10. Disclaimer

PITCH is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it secure and reliable, but we don't guarantee that it will always be available or error-free, and we are not responsible for the conduct or content of other users, including volunteer listings and messages.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PITCH is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in-app or by email. Continuing to use PITCH after a change means you accept the new Terms.
